Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid brought together religious, cultural and social voices to mark dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and news euromillions human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can reduce prejudice.

During the event, participants considered themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
